This arrangement of the Rondo from Mozart’s Concerto Nr. 4 for wind trio was written originally for David Evans; principal horn of the West Australian Symphony Orchestra (WASO). It was utilized as a horn feature as part of an education tour undertaken by a WASO brass trio in 2015.
More recently it was recorded by Sarah Willis (horn), Tamás Velenczei (trumpet) and Jesper Busk Sørensen (euphonium) of the Berlin Philharmonic. The recording can be found on YouTube.
The brass trio version (DE 0003) and brass quintet versions (DE 0002) are also available from Davis Editions.
