About
This arrangement of the popular “Hunters' Chorus” from the opera Der Freischütz by Carl Maria von Weber for horn sextet has been a favourite feature for large ‘flash mob’ horn ensembles over many years. This arrangement was used in that way by the Berlin Philharmonic Horns in their “Ho, Ho, Horn” Christmas concert on the Digital Concert Hall in 2016.
More recently it was recorded by the Berlin Philharmonic Horn Octet in a live concert in 2022. The recording can be found on YouTube.
