O TannenBRASS!
O TannenBRASS! reimagines the classic O Tannenbaum through the vibrant sound of brass ensemble. This arrangement captures the festive spirit with energetic rhythms and Latin-influenced character, offering performers and audiences an engaging musical experience that brings fresh vitality to a beloved melody.
O TannenBRASS! was first performed by the Berlin Philharmonic Brass in 2014 at the Philharmonie Berlin and has subsequently featured in their Christmas programmes at major venues including the Rheingau Musik Festival and Alte Oper Frankfurt. It has also been performed by The United States Marine Band, including a 2016 performance as part of their Sousa Season Opener.
The Berlin Philharmonic Brass has now taken the piece into the recording studio, including O TannenBRASS! on their 2025 Christmas album Frohe Weihnachten!, recorded at the Philharmonie Berlin. The recording presents this arrangement alongside Christmas repertoire from around the world. Details of the album can be found here.

Habanera
Formed as part of the popular Mozart y Mambo project by Sarah Willis of the Berlin Philharmonic, the Sarahbanda explores the captivating Cuban dance rhythms in a way never heard before. How? By featuring an instrument not typically included in traditional Cuban band music — the French horn. The sound of Sarah's horn combined with Cuban grooves played by some of Cuba's most talented musicians creates an exciting and passionate group unlike any other. With their exclusive new arrangements of some of Cuba’s best-known songs such as Chan Chan and Sandunguera, original compositions by members of the band, and some classical-meets-Cuban surprises, the Sarahbanda brings a whole new sound — fresh, innovative, irresistible and one you simply have to get up and dance to!
